How have you been guys!?
It's time for our first blog of the year and we couldn't be happier about it.
If 2022 was a watershed year for Black Wolf Blues for all the many great reasons we mentioned on our last blog, 2023 has been even better! So let us tell you a little bit about it.
We started off the year with a gig at The Water Rats in King's Cross, London on 17 January.
The Water Rats has an amazing history as a London venue, including Bob Dylan's first UK gig in 1962, The Pogues' very first gig in 1982 and Oasis' first London gig in 1994, along with a roll call of other household names throughout the years.
We were overwhelmed and proud to perform there for our friends and fans and become a part of that history as well.
The stage, lighting and equipment available were simply the best, topped up with a sound engineer controlling it all throughout the gig and ready to make us sound even better at each note.
The venue itself is also an amazingly pleasant place, with a smaller and cozy room available for sitting guests, and a great room where the gigs take place with lots of space to dance and to rock as you please.
Not only did we have tons of fun performing that night, we also had an amazing time there too!
We'd like to thank our friend Nicholas from Dead Or Alive productions who organized the event and invited us to be a part of it.
We'll be performing at a Dead Or Alive event again really soon so stay tuned for more information.
A big thank you to all of our supporters who joined us that night, to all those who couldn't but as always continue to support us, as well as to all of our fans all around the world! You are the reason we keep on rocking.
Check out our Instagram, Facebook and YouTube pages for some of the videos and pictures from that gig. A new video is uploaded to our YouTube channel every Tuesday, so don't forget to subscribe so that you don't miss out on new content weekly.
Next week we'll be releasing another blog about our second gig of the year which took place at the St. Mortiz Club in Soho, so stay tuned, rock on and have an amazing weekend!
