Hello guys!

It's that time of the week again, and today's blog is a really interesting one.

We have recently done our latest photoshoot in Greenwich with Jenny Thornton (shots soon to come! check out Jenny's work on Instagram @jenslivemusicphotography), and as a part of that photoshoot we went to Casbah Records, a charming vintage records store, and as well as a few shots each of us also recorded a video with our top three picks at the store.

These videos will be released weekly and this week's video as published on our socials was Cam`s! So let's dig a little deeper and get to know a little more about those albums.

But first let’s tell you a little about Casbah Records (check them out on casbahrecords.co.uk).

Casbah Records is South-East London’s premier independent record shop.

They are choc-full to the brim with top quality new and vintage vinyl, new cds, dvds, books, comics and t-shirts. They may also be one of the last shops in London to stock 8-track cartridges, plus listening facilities for them!

They cover everything from R.N.R, R.N.B, surf, soul, prog rock, folk, rock, blues, reggae, jazz, afrobeat, psychedelia to hip-hop, punk, indie and electronica.

They take a keen interest in contemporary music and have a great selection of new releases on vinyl and cd plus all the classic and hard to find reissues.

This is an amazing record shop you have to go to if you like music!

Now on to Cam’s top three picks:

Metallica`s Kill 'Em All

Kill 'Em All is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on July 25, 1983, through the independent label Megaforce Records. Metallica began by playing shows in local clubs in Los Angeles.

Cro-Mags` The Age of Quarrel

The Age of Quarrel is the first album by the New York hardcore band Cro-Mags. It was released on then-independent Profile Records in September 1986. It was subsequently re-released by Another Planet in 1994, along with the band's second album, Best Wishes, on the same disc.

Slayer`s Haunting the Chapel

Haunting the Chapel is an extended play released by American thrash metal band Slayer in 1984 through Metal Blade and Enigma Records. Slayer's debut album Show No Mercy became Metal Blade's highest-selling, leading to producer Brian Slagel wanting to release an EP.

And that's it guys! This is the first of a series of blogs about our members top finds at Casbah Records, stay tuned for more.

As an independent band we need all the support we can get, so we are running a crowdfunding campaign to help us fund the recording of our EP and make it as awesome as possible for you!

If you'd like to contribute with any amount just head on over to our website or Linktree and you will find the link to the crowdfunding there.

Our next gig is on Thursday October 12th at The Good Mixer, an amazing venue right in the heart of Camden Town.

This is a really special performance we’re preparing for you, as well as a FREE ENTRY SHOW! So make sure you are there!

Check out our Instagram, Facebook and YouTube for some of our videos, pictures and exclusive content.

A new video is uploaded to our YouTube channel every Tuesday, so don't forget to like and subscribe so that you don't miss out on new content weekly.

We also publish a new blog every Thursday, and next week's blog is going to be one of a kind. So stay tuned, rock on and have an amazing weekend!
